On an Asian kick...

In my latest cooking ventures, I've found this incredible teriyaki sauce. I bought it at Kroger, so I'm not sure where else you can find it. World Harbors teriyaki sauce is good, too, if you can't find this particular one. I buy the Birds Eye steamfresh broccoli florets which take about five minutes in the microwave. Cook the broccoli and mix in a little of this sauce for the perfect side dish to pineapple chicken or to top off a bowl of brown rice. It's really good to boil a pack of ramen noodles and mix it in with the broccoli. It's super cheap and ridiculously easy! Highly recommended.

  3. To give you a dollar amount to show you just how cheap this is....
A bag of Steamfresh broccoli is $1.85
2 bricks of ramen noodles is $0.25
The teriyaki sauce is $4, but lasts for at least 4 meals. So at most you would add $1 to your meal cost.
So a complete meal for two costs around $3.10!

  5. Wonton sheets......I think they have them in Wal-Mart near the chopped vegetables or try the frozen food section ........there is this woman at work who is Chinese and she buys them at a Chinese Mart here in Montgomery.

  6. The store was cool. I did acquire wonton sheets there. Actually they are wonton "wrappers" - is this the same? They are square.
